Does spouse need to sign waiver of citation if child is not a minor?

My child is 17 and will be 18 01/08. Child support has already been established months ago. Does having child support already in place have anything to do with the waiver of citation being signed or not? The signature is already on the final court papers? Please advise as soon as possible.Does spouse need to sign waiver of citation if child is not a minor?
nope, all the citation means is he knows of the upcoming court date and is waiving formal notification by the court.
